Terms of Service
Last updated 6 September 2026
What this covers
sleepforge is a personal tool that generates ambient sleep videos and uploads them to its operator's own YouTube channel. It is not a hosted service and is not offered to the public. These terms apply to the person running it.
Acceptable use
sleepforge may be used only to upload content to a channel the operator owns or is authorised to manage, and only in a manner consistent with the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and YouTube's Community Guidelines and monetisation policies.
It must not be used to upload content the operator does not have the rights to, to impersonate anyone, or to operate channels on another person's behalf without their authorisation.
Uploads are private by default
Videos are uploaded with private visibility. Publishing a video is a deliberate, separate action taken by the operator. sleepforge does not make anything public on its own.
No warranty
sleepforge is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may fail, produce unusable output, or stop working if an upstream API changes. The operator is responsible for reviewing what it produces before publishing.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from use of this tool, including lost time, lost content, or any action taken against a YouTube channel as a result of content uploaded through it.
Responsibility for content
The operator is solely responsible for everything uploaded to their channel, including compliance with YouTube's policies on authentic content and monetisation. Generation by software does not transfer that responsibility.
Termination
The operator may stop using sleepforge at any time and revoke its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
